Our vision is to be the premier provider of benevolent civilian support services to the NSW communities we serve. This is pursued by collaborating with the leaders in Family Support to better understand the effects of deployment; by frequent analysis to ensure we are meeting current needs; by the delivery of exceptional programs; and by educating and involving the civilian population in support of these elite warriors.
P33 is the Foundation of David Wells, retired Major League Baseball pitcher and one of only 3 New York Yankees to have pitched a perfect game. His Foundation supports the Navy Seal Family Foundation.
Founded in 2008, the SEAL Family Foundation is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization that raises funds and awareness for special programs in direct support of the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) families on a local, national and global scale. In 2012, the Foundation raised $2.2 million in funds, including more than $500,000 for the Ty Woods and Glen Dougherty Memorial Funds. More than 90 percent of all funding supports direct services, and remaining funds directly support program administration and Foundation operations.
Additionally, the Foundation actively supports a number of programs including NSW Kids, Gold Star Families, The Global Spouse Sisterhood, Family Readiness Groups, Graduation Ceremonies, and a host of other programs designed to ensure the warriors and families of Naval Special Warfare stay healthy and resilient in this era of persistent deployments.
To support individual and family readiness through an array of programs specifically targeted to assist the Naval Special Warfare community in maintaining a resilient, sustainable, and healthy force in this era of persistent conflict and frequent deployments.
